Although this film is very visually pleasing (the photography is very good), I have to say I preferred the original Japanese film. I felt the remake doesn't have the same feeling of building tension throughout.

My Neighbor Totoro review

I love this film! It may not be as deep as some of the other Ghibli films, but it is very happy and light-hearted. Whenever I watch it I feel warm and fuzzy inside! The designs of the Totoros are amazingly cute.

St. Trinian's review

An amusing British comedy that showcases some new talented actresses, along with great performances by known names such as Rupert Everett, Colin Firth and Lena Headey.
This is a fun film that mkes light of the cliquey nature of British schools. If only I'd been able to blow things up at school!

Cheesy but fun...

If your expectations aren't too high this film is great. You have to accept it for what it is: a silly cheerleading film! It's ace!
